Mason McBride, an independent insurance agency in Troy, Michigan, announced the acquisition of Berkfield & Co, Ltd, an independent insurance broker based in Waterford, Michigan, offering personal insurance, commercial insurance, and employee benefits.
A Note From Berk & Karen
It is with great pleasure that I announce the merger of Berkfield & Co, Ltd with KAI Mason McBride, of Troy Michigan. Our merger officially took place on 8/1/2022, as such we are now operating as one entity, KAI Mason McBride, LLC.
Our decision to merge with Mason McBride was also part of a strategic alliance. We wanted to be able to do more and offer more to our customers. We wanted to have access to more insurance companies, to better discount programs, and exclusive discount abilities.
I am grateful to have been able to work with you all over the last 40+ years. This is not the end, it is only opening new opportunities for us to better handle your unique insurance needs.
I took everyone with me in some fashion or another (Karen, Vicki, Yolenda, Kevin & Megan).
We hope you share in our excitement. Mason-McBride has been in the insurance industry since 1916. They have collective experience in our industry of well over 100 years.
