As CEO of Mason-McBride, W. Michael McBride, JD has over 40 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry, with a career that has spanned agency leadership, national association work, and client advocacy.
In 2024, Mike was inducted into the Michigan Insurance Hall of Fame, recognizing his contributions to leadership, service, and innovation in the insurance industry. He also served as National Chairman of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (Big "I") for 2023–2024 — the highest elected position in the nation's largest association of independent agents.
His path to that role included serving as President of Big I Michigan, National Director representing Michigan, and Chair of the Trusted Choice Board. He continues to serve on the Big "I" Executive Committee as immediate past chair.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Insurance Management from Ferris State University, a Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Law School, and completed an executive development program at the Wharton School of Business. He is licensed in property/casualty, life, and accident/health insurance across multiple states, and is an Investment Advisor Representative with LPL Financial, holding Series 7 and 66 securities certifications.
Throughout his career, Mike has served on numerous industry boards, advisory councils, and committees, bringing that experience to every client relationship at Mason-McBride.
Scott McBride

Scott McBride brings over 35 years of expertise to the insurance and risk management industry, serving as Chief Operating Officer at Mason-McBride.
A graduate of Ferris State University with a Bachelor of Science in Insurance, Risk Management and Finance, Scott holds multiple industry designations including Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Licensed Insurance Counselor (LIC), and Excess & Surplus Lines Producer. He is licensed in property/casualty, life/health, and excess & surplus lines in all 50 states.
Scott is a longtime advocate for independent agents at both the state and national levels. He currently serves as an Executive Committee Member of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (IIABA) and as National Director for Michigan (2017–present). He previously served as President of Big I Michigan (2016–2017) and chaired the IIABA Finance Committee (2021–2024).
His contributions have been recognized with the Presidential Citation from Big I Michigan (2024), the Hildebrand Award for Lifetime Achievement (2023), and the Capital Award (2013).

For over 25 years, Leslie Bartz has been a key contributor to Mason-McBride's success. As Controller, her sharp financial acumen and dedication to operational excellence have contributed directly to the company's growth and client satisfaction.
Since joining Mason-McBride in 1997, Leslie has overseen financial management, office operations, and information technology with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of business strategy. Her leadership ensures the agency remains well-positioned to serve clients effectively.
Leslie holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Central Michigan University. When not working, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband at their Northern Michigan cottage, embracing an adventurous spirit by riding 4-wheelers and dirt bikes. Leslie also has a passion for live music, particularly rock, and loves attending concerts across various genres.

With more than 35 years of experience in the insurance industry, Amy Purcilly serves as Senior Vice President at Mason-McBride, where she plays a key role in leading our employee benefits practice. Her focus on client acquisition and long-term retention has been instrumental in shaping the agency’s continued growth.
Amy is known for her thoughtful, educational approach, helping clients navigate the complexities of life and health benefits with honesty, clarity, and fairness. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and an Associate of Applied Science in Insurance from Ferris State University. In addition, she has earned several professional designations, including CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor), LIC (Licensed Insurance Counselor), and ARM (Associate in Risk Management) for both Property & Casualty and Life & Health.
A recognized leader in the industry, Amy was the first female and youngest person to serve as President of the Michigan Association of Insurance Agents. She has also served as President and Treasurer of the Metro Detroit Association of Health Underwriters (MDAHU), and is a founding member and Past President of the MI Future Foundation.
Outside of the office, Amy enjoys an active lifestyle, often spending her time golfing, skiing, and enjoying Michigan’s great outdoors.

As Vice President of Commercial Insurance, Andy is a dedicated professional who leverages his industry expertise and extensive certifications to create customized insurance solutions for business leaders.
A graduate of Olivet College, Andy holds numerous certifications, including Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist and an Authority on Workers' Comp. With over a decade of experience in client-centered roles in the financial and insurance sectors, Andy is committed to helping people and has a proven track record of success.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Andy is a dedicated community leader. He serves as a volunteer financial literacy instructor and Committee Chair for Junior Achievement and as a coach for men's and women's basketball. He is also an accomplished athlete and enjoys spending time with family, golfing, and biking in his spare time.

Jeff Jardine, Executive Producer at Mason-McBride, brings over two decades of industry experience to his role assisting clients in identifying and mitigating potential commercial risks.
Jeff's academic foundation in Insurance and Risk Management, coupled with his bachelor's degree, equips him with a solid understanding of the intricacies involved in safeguarding businesses from losses. His pursuit of the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Accredited Adviser in Insurance (AAI) designations further demonstrates his commitment to continuous professional growth.
In his position at Mason-McBride, Jeff takes pride in providing straightforward guidance to business leaders throughout Michigan and nationwide. Jeff's approachable nature fosters strong relationships built on trust and transparency.
Away from the office, Jeff enjoys an active and healthy lifestyle. On the weekend, he can be found enjoying yoga, squash, or a round of golf.

Richard has been helping businesses and individuals make good decisions about their property and casualty insurance programs for 50 years.
Richard graduated from U of D Mercy's School of Business Administration and MBA Programs. Before entering the insurance business, Richard worked as a management consultant for Touche Ross & Co. After terms of employment with two local insurance agencies, he opened Berkfield & Co, Ltd in 1979. Berkfield & Co, Ltd specialized in commercial and personal insurance placement and account management and served over 2500 clients in Waterford and throughout Michigan. Berkfield & Co Ltd merged with Mason-McBride in August of 2022, just shy of 50 years after entering the insurance business.
Richard is a community leader who helped establish the Accounting Aid Society of Metro Detroit, which allows low-income citizens to file for tax returns. He also mentored elementary students at Cornerstone Schools in Detroit, grew and donated food to the Open Door Resource Center Food Pantry, and was active with the Blessings in a Backpack project at Waterford Schools. Additionally, Richard was asked to serve on the Oakland Community College Foundation Board of Directors, where he serves as the current Chairman.
Richard and his wife reside in Sylvan Lake, MI., and enjoy visiting with their three children and grandchildren whenever possible. Richard enjoys boating, golfing, and bocce ball in his spare time.

Dave Muma has spent over 35 years in the insurance industry, working primarily with business owners and families navigating coverage decisions.
Before joining Mason-McBride in 2023, he was COO and co-owner of his family's independent insurance agency in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, where he spent over two decades building client relationships and running agency operations.
Dave has been active in the independent agency community. As chairman of the Big I Michigan Technology Committee, he helped advance conversations around modernization and best practices within the independent agency system.
His educational journey includes studies at Rockhurst Jesuit High School, Regis University, Creighton University, Fordham University, and Columbia University.
Outside the office, Dave enjoys reading, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, and settling in for a good movie.
Lindsay Pavkovich

Lindsay Pavkovich's journey in the insurance industry began at her father's independent agency, where she evolved from answering phones to learning the full spectrum of the family business from the ground up. Her five decades of comprehensive knowledge span personal and commercial lines, including Property, Casualty, Workers' Compensation, Aviation, and Surety.
Holding a BA from Oakland University and having completed Parts I and II of the Institute's ARM program, Lindsay is also a recognized Certified Authority on Workers' Compensation.
In 2002, after her father's passing, Lindsay was elected President of the family agency. With the help of her relatives, also part of the agency, she expanded the business and earned the esteem of both industry peers and carriers.
An active leader in the field, she has served as President of Big "I" Michigan, advocating for independent agents and contributing to the growth of Michigan's insurance sector. Her leadership extends to chairing the St. Jude Mixed Insurance Invitational and serves as a Board member for the Greater Royal Oak Chamber of Commerce and Independent Insurance Agents of Oakland County.
The year 2023 marked a pivotal moment as Lindsay embarked on a new journey with Mason-McBride, following the merger of her agency. This move rekindled her passion for working closely with a diverse range of clients in asset protection and risk management.
Outside of her professional life, Lindsay is deeply rooted in faith and family. She is actively involved in her church choir and finance council, and her greatest joy is found in time spent with her husband, children, and grandchildren.

Brent Kilgore, a seasoned Commercial Risk Advisor at Mason-McBride, brings over three decades of experience in the insurance industry. His career began in the Claims Department of a captive agency, leading to a successful transition to an agent in 1994. Brent demonstrated an entrepreneurial spirit and managed his own multi-line agency for 28 years. During this period, he earned numerous sales awards and consistently ranked as a top performer among agents in Michigan before moving to an independent agency.
With deep roots in Macomb and Lapeer counties, Brent has developed a keen specialization in commercial insurance, focusing on habitational sectors. At the heart of his work, Brent is driven by a passion for helping clients protect their most valued accomplishments and takes pride in being a reliable ally for clients during their challenging times.
Outside the office, Brent enjoys the simple pleasures of life – spending time with family, grilling, enjoying summer days by the pool, and, yes, even cutting grass! His love for Michigan is evident in his enthusiasm for outdoor activities, Lions football, and exploring the state's scenic beauty, especially the northern regions.

Michele Wieczorkowski’s insurance career began in 2003 when she stepped into a commercial lines CSR role determined to learn the industry from the ground up. Over the next two decades, her career was shaped by curiosity, hard work, and a true commitment to helping others succeed.
Michele has built a well-rounded background working at both national carriers and independent agencies, advancing through roles as an account manager, sales agent, and producer. Her expertise spans personal and commercial lines, as well as life, health, and supplemental benefits.
Today, Michele specializes in commercial risk management, helping business owners protect their people, property, and future. She especially enjoys working with new entrepreneurs, guiding them through insurance decisions with a focus on clarity, honesty, and follow-through. Inspired by her first mentor, Terry Riley, Michele believes in treating clients like family and building relationships based on trust and integrity.
Outside of work, Michele is passionate about giving back to her community. She is a founding member of the St. Baldrick’s Armada Foundation, raising funds for pediatric cancer research, and volunteers with Boats for Vets, the Fraternal Order of Eagles, and local organizations supporting special needs programs and animal rescues.
A proud lifelong Michigander, Michele loves everything from Motown music to Great Lakes getaways and the fire of the Michigan/Ohio State rivalry.

With a strong background in risk management and insurance, she focuses on home, auto, and other personal lines coverage, working closely with clients to find policies that fit their needs and priorities.
Chloe is passionate about building trust and lasting relationships. She takes the time to understand her clients' needs and provides clear, straightforward guidance, making insurance less intimidating and helping them make informed decisions.
Chloe was drawn to Mason-McBride because of its strong commitment to integrity and its supportive environment that encourages continuous learning. She is currently pursuing her Life Insurance License to expand her knowledge and better serve clients.
Outside of the office, Chloe loves Michigan’s diverse seasons and scenic outdoors, whether she’s kayaking in the summer, snowboarding in the winter, or hiking through vibrant fall landscapes. A devoted advocate for animal welfare, she has opened her heart and home to several rescue pets from local shelters.

After years of working in business leadership, Megan began work at an independent insurance agency. She gained years of experience in commercial and personal insurance administration before becoming a Personal Risk Advisor. Megan is passionate about providing personalized services and helping clients navigate the complexities of insurance.
On the weekends, Megan is out in nature with her husband and three boys. Family is everything to Megan, and she loves nothing more than spending quality time with her loved ones. Megan enjoys golfing, karaoke, sipping California reds, and catching up with her four best friends, whom she has known for over 20 years.

Before insurance, Martha worked in wealth management and co-owned two restaurants. Through every chapter, she's led with heart, finding common ground with people and genuinely caring about what matters to them. She's there for clients during important decisions and shows up for others in both professional and personal moments.
Born and raised in Michigan, she loves exploring what the state has to offer: Lake Michigan weekends, beach walks, roller-skating, and time with family. When she needs to recharge, she turns to rock ’n’ roll and planning trips.

A proud Michigander, Scott enjoys concerts in the park, trips to Harsens Island, and festive visits to Frankenmuth. Away from work, he’s an enthusiastic Detroit Tigers and Lions fan, plays pickleball, and collects Tigers memorabilia. Scott has been happily married for nearly 14 years and especially enjoys cheering on his eight nephews at their games.

Sara Rockhey brings a solutions-oriented approach to her role as Benefits Account Manager at Mason-McBride. With a background in education and a heart for service, Sara focuses on making the benefits process simpler and more approachable for the clients and teams she supports.
Before entering the insurance world, Sara spent 12 years teaching science to students in grades 7–11 on the island of Saipan. She also served as an educator at Sea Life Michigan and several children’s organizations—experiences that shaped her ability to communicate complex information with clarity and empathy. That same skillset now supports her success in navigating the group benefits space, where clear communication and personal connection matter most.
Outside the office, Sara continues to invest in her community. She volunteers as a Sunday school teacher and performs in a handbell choir. A fan of Michigan’s cultural diversity, she also enjoys exploring local neighborhoods, especially when it involves bubble tea.

Her career in the industry began on the client side, where she held leadership positions across Human Resources and Recruiting for over a decade. Now, she leverages this knowledge to partner closely with clients throughout the benefits lifecycle, from enrollment and renewals to policy changes.
Daphne holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance, a Health and Life License, and a Professional Human Resources (PHR) Certificate. This unique combination of education and experience equips her with a comprehensive understanding of both the financial and human aspects of employee benefits.
Outside the office, Daphne is active in her church and enjoys spending time outdoors. Whether swimming on Michigan's beautiful lakes, golfing, or simply relaxing with a good book, she finds ways to recharge and brings fresh energy and enthusiasm to her work with clients.

Her professional background includes work in social services and care communities, where she supported elderly and disabled individuals, mentored children, and helped families navigate complex systems. These experiences have shaped Genet’s ability to connect with people from all walks of life and approach each challenge with empathy and a solutions-first mindset.
Now based in Sterling Heights, Genet enjoys discovering new places throughout Michigan. Outside of work, she finds joy in hiking, listening to gospel music, and perfecting her favorite soul food recipes—activities that reflect her passion for connection, culture, and care.

With a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations from Eastern Michigan University, she uses her strong organizational and communication skills to support both clients and the team every day.
Grace’s background includes experience in customer service, event planning, and marketing, including an internship with the National Cherry Festival in Traverse City. These roles helped her develop a practical, people-first approach and the ability to step in wherever she’s needed.
A lifelong Michigander, Grace loves spending time at her family cottage up north. Outside the office, she enjoys trying new recipes, taking long walks with her dog, and fitting in a little retail therapy when she can.

Before joining Mason-McBride, she helped grow one of Michigan’s largest gymnastics organizations, an experience that strengthened her approach to building recognizable brands and creating lasting connections.
Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, live music, and road trips with her rescue dog, Romeo.
