Mike McBride, the CEO of Mason-McBride, is a notable figure in the insurance industry, proudly carrying on a family legacy spanning over a century.
Mike's insurance journey began in 1983 when he joined the Michigan Mutual Insurance Company, working in various roles in underwriting and claims. In late 1984, he joined the family agency and advanced under the leadership of his father, Wayne McBride.
Together with his brother Scott, their forward-thinking, innovative approach proved instrumental in guiding Mason-McBride's evolution over the past 35 years into one of the region's leading insurance agencies.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Insurance Management from Ferris State University. Recognizing the close relationship between the legal and insurance industries, he went on to pursue a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from the University of Detroit Law School.
Nationally recognized as a leader in the industry, Mike currently serves as Chairman of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America and past President of the Michigan IIABA. He is also a sought-after speaker and published author on insurance and financial topics.
